Aboyne Paths and Tracks Group (APTG) are our Path Group of the year. APTG have done a great job identifying, expanding, and promoting new walking routes in their community, making sure they’re accessible for all.

Our Active Travel Project of the Year is the Inverness Festival of Walking & Wheeling!
The festival's aim was to encourage active travel in Inverness through highlighting the health, economic and environmental benefits.
Health Walk Volunteer of the Year
The winner of our Health Walk Volunteer is Claire Henderson from Bums Off Seats, Fife Council.
Claire goes out her way to ensure everyone feels welcome at Health Walks, finds time to check in with everyone and is dedicated to making a difference.
Health Walk Group of the Year
Walk in the Park- Killin group are our Health Walk Group of the Year!
This group provides Health Walks to help people connect with their communities, rebuild their health and wellbeing, and connect with each other.
Dementia Friendly Health Walk Group of the Year
Our Dementia Friendly Health Walk Group of the Year award goes to Portobello Promenade-Aging Well, Edinburgh Leisure. The Portobello volunteers have been great at encouraging and continue motivating participants to get outside and enjoy the fresh air!
Volunteer Project Coordinator of the Year
Well done to Denise Carmichael, NHS Borders who is our Volunteer Project Coordinator award winner.
Denise has recruited, trained, and developed a team of about 100 dedicated Walk Leaders that share her passion and commitment to health improvement.
Step Count Champion of the Year
Catherine Goodfellow, One Step Too Far is our Step Count Champion of the Year!
Catherine has been a motivational team leader keeping her team positive while achieving 1,000,000 steps in every challenge to date, as well as a climb up Ben Nevis!
Ian Findlay Outstanding Achievement Award
In memory of our late CO, our Ian Findlay Outstanding Achievement Award goes to Jonathan Kitching, Aboyne Paths and Tracks Group.
A founder of APTG, Jonathan built a community of volunteers & a long serving committee dedicated to continuing his legacy.
