Step Forth have walks all over the Falkirk area, from Larbert to Bo'ness, the Braes to Carronshore and the Helix.
Step Forth is Falkirk council walking for health project. Our aim is to encourage people of all ages and abilities to become more active, physically, mentally and socially.
All our walks are run by our fantastic team of volunteers. We have health walks, which are under an hour and usually flat. Falls prevention classes (Otago) to give people the confidence to keep walking. Buggy walks for new parents. Slightly longer walks and Nordic walking groups.
Most of our walks are wheelchair friendly but please contact the coordinator if you need more information.
Step Forth aims to encourage everyone in the area to become more active. From our buggy groups through to our strength and Balance (Otago) classes
We also have two British Nordic Walking Instructors and run classes twice a year, that feed in to our busy, free, Nordic walking groups.
Step Forth is the founder of the Big Fit walk which started in Grangemouth in June 2004. It grew every year and to this day most schools in the area do The Big Fit Walk.
