Walk in the Park delivers health walks in the beautiful and nurturing surroundings of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. We deliver six weekly walking groups in Arrochar, Balloch, Drymen, Aberfoyle, Callander and Killin.

Walk in the Park is a project part of the Loch Lomond & the Trossachs Countryside Trust. Walk in the Park is supported by Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, Paths for All, Impact Funding Partners and The Forestry Commission.

Loch Lomond & the Trossachs Countryside Trust works together with partnership organisations to conserve the stunning landscapes and rich native wildlife found within the National Park and to improve local facilities so that more people can discover and enjoy our iconic countryside.

The work of the Countryside Trust includes habitat restoration, invasive species management and outdoor health projects within the National Park.

Walk in the Park delivers a programme of weekly health walks providing local opportunities for people to explore the National Park, to become physically active and improve their health and well-being. Walk in the Park aims to introduce those who are recovering from illness or those who have experienced periods of inactivity back into gentle exercise.

With the help of a large network of Volunteer Walk Leaders Walk in the Park delivers six walking for health groups across the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The weekly schedule is as follows Monday: Aberfoyle, Tuesday: Callander and Arrochar & Tarbet, Wednesday: Balloch & Killin, Thursday: Drymen. As well as our weekly health walks we also run strength and balance sessions in Callander, Killin and Aberfoyle.

Walk in the Park welcomes people living with dementia and their carers onto our walks. Routes identified with the Dementia Friendly walking logo are suitable for most abilities.

Please contact the Lomond Coordinator for further details of how to join one of our Health Walks.
