Our four week spring challenge starts on Monday 4th May and is designed to keep you connected and keep you moving. Open to workplaces in Scotland, we've created a special edition of the Step Count Challenge to help you through these challenging times.
More than ever, it's important we look after our physical and mental wellbeing. Social distancing doesn't have to mean isolation, and staying inside doesn't have to mean sitting still.
We've made some key changes to this challenge to support you and your workmates to destress, move your body and get together virtually:
- It's free. We're offering free places for employees across Scotland.
- New app syncing capabilities. We've launched a new Step Count Challenge website that's not only slicker and easier to navigate, but also includes some step count app integration.
- Every movement counts. While previous challenges often motivate people to clock up tremendous step counts, this challenge will simply be focused on supporting you to do small bouts of activity however you can.
- Focus on connecting. The Step Count Challenge is always about giving you and your colleagues something social and fun to enjoy together. But this time more than ever, we'll be finding ways to support your teams to link up remotely.
During the challenge, we'll give you and your team lots of ideas, tips, prizes and daily challenges to help you be active. Whether you've recently started working from home or you're a key worker looking for a way to de-stress at the end of a busy day, the Step Count Challenge is here to help you stay positive, get motivated and have some fun.
