Expert judges announce the winners of ten categories in first-ever Scottish Walking Awards
This year, we awarded £180,000 to 22 diverse projects across Scotland which all aim to get more people walking.
In 2018, we awarded 27 grants worth a total of £160,000 to projects across the country through our Walking for Health grant fund.
George has won the award for his work promoting cycling in Kirkcaldy, including leading cycle rides and developing active travel maps.
Greener Kirkcaldy promotes active travel and equips people with the necessary skills and knowledge to cycle more for everyday journeys.
