Balerno Footsteps for Fitness is a friendly, well-established and entirely volunteer-run group, which offers a varied programme of weekly walks catering for a range of abilities.

Walks are aimed at people living in Balerno, Currie and Juniper Green areas of Edinburgh and are tailored to match the ability of those walking.

Friday's Tortoise Walks are at a slow pace and are up to two miles long; Thursday's Short Walks are slightly longer at two to three miles long; and the Monday Walks, for those who like to go a bit further, are up to four miles of easy walking.
