Walking is fun, and is often the simplest and quickest way to get around your local area. Whether you need to go to the shops, to school or work - you can enjoy walking whilst still being able to socalise with your mates. We also have dedicated resources for schools.

If you have a smartphone then there are lots of free and cheap apps you can get for both Android phones and the iPhone. Most will let you see an ongoing record of your activity. Sport England has a review of apps: walking iphone app image
