Overview: This is an interactive course that will provide path managers and community groups with an understanding of the new path grading system; who it is aimed at; and the skills to grade paths consistently. There will also be an opportunity to grade and test a route.

The Path Grading System for Scotland helps path managers and community groups to simply, consistently and accurately describe paths to walkers, cyclists and other path users. Using this standard system will help path users to pick a route that suits their needs.

Who should attend: This practical outdoor course is a must for any community organisation developing or managing path projects and who want to organise work days with volunteers.
