Location: This course is held at venues around Scotland.
Cost: To organise a course will cost £500 per course – each course can accommodate up to 20 delegates (this does not include catering & venue hire). A grant maybe available to cover the cost of training, contact PfA for more information.
Volunteers can attend an organised course free of charge so long as they are volunteering on behalf of a recognised PfA walking for health project. Who is the course aimed at? Primarily at volunteers who are leading health walks for the general public as part of an existing organisation or as part of a specific walking for health project. How do I book? Before booking on this course you should be part of a new or existing Walking for Health scheme. Visit our 'find a health walk' page to find local walking projects in your area. To book on, in the first instance please speak with your local Walking for Health scheme coordinator who will be happy to discuss your involvement in the local walking project.
