Overview: More and more communities throughout Scotland are developing projects to improve andPath tools maintain the local paths that people use every day. 

This course is a must for any community organisation developing or managing path projects and who want to organise work days with volunteers. 

Learn about the tools you need to get the job done, how to organise volunteer work days and get hands on experience of upgrading a path.

Cost: This event is free. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. 

What will I learn?

You will learn to

  • safely use hand and small power tools
  • repair and build paths
  • organise volunteer work days

What to wear and bring on the day

This outdoor course involves physical work. You will need to wear appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear, preferably steel toe-capped.
