Overview This one day course will demonstrate the opportunities and possibilities for enhancing biodiversity through creative path construction and management.
Date 26th April 2012.
Location Mugdock Country Park, East Dunbartonshire.
Cost £90.00 (free to community volunteers).
Who is the course aimed at? This course is aimed at anyone who would like to create new habitats for wildlife, or enhance the biodiversity of existing ones, as part of path construction and management.
What will I learn?- How creative you can be to benefit wildlife, when creating new or enhancing existing habitats whilst building paths
- How creating 'clean water' ponds for freshwater wildlife involves much more than just digging a hole
- How to get the best result from contractors creating habitats for wildlife
- How to enhance wildlife when maintaining your paths
- How to get involved in wildlife recording in Scotland and where to send your records
- How to use your local paths creatively to celebrate wildlife
