For many people paths have always been just about recreational activities – taking the dog for a walk, going up a hill or to the park. However, over the last decade or so there has been a significant shift in attitude and an awareness that paths, and the use of paths, deliver on a broad range of policies, strategies and agendas. This is reflected in the areas that PFA operates.
PFA’s activities assist in the delivery of a wide range of national and Government policies including: health and well-being, sustainable transport, environment and climate change, community development and volunteering, and sustainable economic growth.
