Small and Large Grant Applications 2016 - 2017

Crown office - Walk Under the Trees

Paths for All funds projects in order to improve Scotland's health through the delivery of local community Health Walk and workplace walking projects.

We invest in community projects which build local capacity, delivering a volunteer led solution to improve physical activity levels.

There are two levels of grant available:

  1. A Small Grant of up to £5,000.
  2. A Large Grant of up to £30,000*

The Paths for All Grant Fund has been made possible through support from the Scottish Government.

Who can apply?

Constituted groups, organisations and workplaces can apply for funds. You do not need to be a registered charity. Private sector organisations may apply as long as the benefits to inactive people are made clear. Public sector bodies may also apply for funding.

*Please note: if you have previously received grant funding from us, the Large Grant limit is £20,000.

What kind of work will we fund?

The fund supports a range of work and we welcome new and innovative approaches as well as tested models of delivery. The core aim of all successful applications is: ‘To significantly increase the number of people becoming active through walking.’

How to apply

Our Walking for Health grant fund is now closed to new applications. Please contact your local Paths for All Development Officer to discuss other support available.
