There are many other potential sources of funding family walking by canalrelating to the work of Paths for All; including funding for walking for health, developing & managing paths and community projects.

Funding Scotland- free database of funding opportunities. Search for Lottery funders, statutory and European organisations, corporate foundations and charitable trusts. The funding opportunities include grants, contracts, and loans and in kind support. 

Scotland: National Rural Network - comprehensive funding guide and tools relevant to communities in Scotland. 

European Commission - search for European funding by topic or index.

Highlands and Islands Enterprise  - links to the various Local Enterprise Companies that provide support and funding to communities.

Institute of Fundraising - information includes codes of fundraising practice, activities and strategies and charities and the law. Pages from the Scottish group list training and events. 

Scottish Government Rural Funding Opportunities Guide - information about grant assistance for Rural Communities from the Scottish Government, its agencies and bodies. 

Grantsnet - search engine for grants available to UK organisations including charities and voluntary organisations, public service organisations, businesses and funders. 

Open 4 Funding - a useful suite of online funding search portals providing coverage of funding opportunities, including European Union, national Government programmes, regional schemes and local initiatives.
