Here's another challenge update from those imaginative folk at Global Energy Group!starwarsopeninglogo

'Today is Star Wars Day!  (May the 4th...think about it) so a few wee facts from a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away are in order.  The chirpy little astromech droid R2-D2 stands at 0.96m tall – laid end to end we have now travelled the length of 10,683,697 R2-D2s!  Han Solo's pride and joy (and the crowning glory of many a Star Wars toy collection), 586_r2d2the Millennium Falcon, measures 34.75m from bow to stern and has a top speed of 1,050 km/h - we've now travelled the length of 295,151 Millennium Falcons over the 11 weeks but it would only have taken Han and Chewbacca just a little over 9 hours to cover the same distance.  And finally, the Death Star Mark II was over 900km in circumference – if we were to take a tour around her decks we would have travelled around her 11 times by now!

" May the force be with you".

In our last cosmic week the lunar ladies at Paths For All are the challenged number two seats. As we "force" ourselves to make all those little jorneys on foot and make every step count.

Come on!
