finishWell we’ve reached the end of the challenge and we’ve been amazed at what you’ve all achieved. 136 workplaces registered a total of 418 teams and 2090 participants.

Workplaces took part from Dumfries to the Western Isles and from Inverurie to Invercylde, including city councils, dentists and everyone in between!

We walked a collective 1,501,139,424 steps, that’s 750,570 miles, that’s over 30 times around the world or 3 times to the moon!

Thanks very much from all of us at Paths for All for getting involved with such enthusiasm and also completing our challenge survey. We’ll post a full challenge report on the blog in the next couple of weeks, but your feedback has been really valuable. We’ve heard that some pedometers have been troublesome but also that the challenge has been the start of a lifestyle change for a lot of you. Most importantly though you’ve told us that you’ve had fun and feel better for it!

We’ll also publish a league table on the blog when all the information is in and processed if you’re interested in comparing your workplace’s step counts to others across Scotland. But remember it’s the taking part that counts and the real winners are those of us that are now feeling fitter and being more active in our daily lives.

Here are the lucky Prize Winners, Congratulations!
