Here's something for the dog lovers and hill walkers amongst you, three challenge walkers tell us about their favourite walking buddies.
Yvonne Watson, NHS Grampian.
Here is photo of my walking buddies, it's my dog Tia (left), her dad Kahn (middle) and mum Sasha
(right). As well as my Husband, Sister, Brother in law we walk every night for an hour around the wood's or sand dunes at Findhorn. We have a good hours walk, catch up on what we've done that day and as well as us getting exercise the dogs do also, it's a great way to get some quality family time.
Karina MacFarquhar from The Natural Disaster team at Global Energy Group.
My walking buddy is my 6 month old cocker spaniel Larsson. His little face keeps me stepping whether
it's rain or shine!
Kim Burke, SCA Packaging
'My favourite walking companions are in the walking group I'm part of, the Glasgow Young Walkers. I started walking with them nearly 3 years ago, and have progressed from doing the shorter low level walks to longer distance ones, from small hills to Munro's. The walks and socials are a chance to meet fresh people to talk to as well as the people I've gotten to know really well. I've attached a photo of some of us, not the most scenic walk photo of the West Highland Way, but I like it as it's a good crowd photo from a popular walk.'
