Juliette Camburn from Keep Scotland Beautiful got in contact to let us know about a really worthwhile scheme they are currently promoting. Their National Spring Clean launched last week and they're encouraging people to get out and make a real difference to their local environment.

Here's how Juliette and her colleagues increased their daily step counts and made a difference to a patch of land near their office:

"We have four teams taking part in the Walk at Work Step Count Challenge and decided to use our lunch-break to combine a walk with a litter pick. Some of us had been getting very annoyed about the litter strewn grass across from Stirling Railway Station, which we pass on our walks to get our step counts up! It's amazing how much difference you can make in a short time!

If you fancy doing the same, why not sign up to take part in Keep Scotland Beautiful's National Spring Clean.

It's simple, fun and FREE, and you could get your whole team involved – and build up your step count at the same time!"

The campaign runs from 1st April – 31st May, and there are already over 60,000 people already signed up.
