Ian has been the Chief Officer of Paths for All since July 2003.
Ian has worked in the rural development, environment and health sectors in Scotland for the last 30 years. He has an Honours Degree in Ecological Science and Wildlife Management from Edinburgh University and has previously worked in the public and private sectors as a countryside ranger, Area Officer for the Nature Conservancy Council and Scottish Natural Heritage, Enterprise and Environment Adviser for Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Director of Conservation with the Scottish Wildlife Trust.
Ian is also a voluntary Trustee of the Association of Chief Officers of Voluntary Organisations, Scottish Environment LINK, Comrie Development Trust and Comrie Community Centre and is a member of Scottish Wildlife Trust's Conservation Committee.
