WALK East Dunbartonshire have been presented with their Dementia Friendly Walking Accreditation after successfully creating opportunities for people living with dementia to be more active in their community.

Two ‘Dementia Friendly’ walks have been unveiled at Riverside Park in Glenrothes thanks to funding from Paths for All, Fife Health & Social Care Partnership and Fife Council.

The Braveheart Association Launches Dementia Friendly Walks

Walk with Braveheart has launched its Dementia Friendly Walking programme and received their Dementia Friendly Walking accreditation certificate. Volunteers and walkers gathered in Bonnybridge to mark the occasion with a walk and celebratory lunch.
