West Lothian Volunteer of the Year Award
Well done to Carol Owen, Volunteer Walk Leader with Put Your West Foot Forward Project who won 'West Lothian Volunteer of the Year' award.
Carol has been an asset to the project and staff, volunteers and participants involved in the Broxburn Walk group value her enthusiasm, cheeky sense of humour and commitment to the success of the project. Carol has been involved in leading walks in the Broxburn area since the project began in 2004. Her motivation is shown by her pro-active approach to reaching this hard-to-reach, inactive, target group. The picture shows Carol receiving her award at the Volunteer of the Year event in West Lothian.
