Team Green Britain Bike Week 2010
The dates for Bike Week 2010 have now been announced - the UK's biggest festival of cycling will take place from 19 - 27 June. Bike Week is sponsored by Team Green Britain, a UK-wide initiative to help combat climate change.
Team Green Britain Bike Week is hosting two event organiser's workshops in Glasgow and Perth. The workshop aims to provide organisers with:
• Ideas and inspiration on different types of events
• Practical tips for organising events
• PR and marketing guidance
• Presentations from previous event organisers
• Information about Team Green Britain
The workshops are new for 2010 and we will be delighted if you are able to join us and make this year’s Bike Week the biggest ever by providing ‘everyday cycling for everyone’.
The Glasgow Workshop will be on 7 April from 13.30 to 15.30 at the Palace of Art. The Perth Workshop will be on 8 April from 9.30 to 11.30 at the A K Bell Library in Perth. To register just email hq@bikeweek.org.uk and reserve a place. The workshops are free to attend.
