Frances has a remit for promoting the work of Paths for All and developing health walk projects in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Moray, Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles. This involves administering the Walking for Health grant scheme and working in partnership with community groups, NHS, Local Authorities and other relevant organisations to increase the number of people within communities walking for health. Frances also supports existing health walk schemes to deliver their objectives within the community. Additionally, she also manages the Workplace Walking programme, coordinating training, grants, pedometer pack distribution and partnership projects nationally. Frances joined Paths for All in September 2007 and has previously worked for a sustainable transport charity, in a local authority and for a social marketing programme.
